Connecticut River Bridge

blank dot

The North Monroe St. Bridge, also known as the Barnet Road Bridge, spans the Connecticut River, connecting Monroe, New Hampshire, and Barnet, Vermont. This bridge is significant for its role in facilitating transportation and commerce between the two states. In August 2022, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced a maintenance project for this bridge. The project involved closing one lane for six weeks to replace the wearing course overlay on the bridge deck. During this period, one lane of alternating traffic was controlled by temporary traffic signals, and the lane width restriction.
