Great River Park Boat Ramp
Boat Ramp
The Great River Park Boat Launch, located adjacent to East River Drive in East Hartford, Connecticut, offers easy access to the Connecticut River. The boat launch is part of the park’s facilities, which also include picnic tables, fishing access, a 350-seat amphitheater, and a unique collection of sculpture art. The park offers picturesque vistas of the riverside and the city along nearly two miles of paved and lighted Riverwalk. The boat launch is open from sunrise to sunset from May 1 through September 30. Launch fees apply, with daily rates for both residents and non-residents, and seasonal permits available. The park and boat launch are subject to closure during fireworks, select special events, or due to flooding.
This site is part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail, which includes campsites, access points, and portage trails along the river.
