Great River Park is a beautiful trail & boat launch along the Connecticut River. I've enjoyed visiting there since I was a child. The boat launch is wide & has a long, gentle slope to the water so its easy to get bigger & small boats in the water. Theres at least 8 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers, maybe more. People tend to park in them without trailers but I'm in the area a lot & it's pretty rare to see more than 4 boat trailers in the lot. Its a great walk along the Connecticut River too. Bring some bug spray depending on the season. Theres great places to fish scattered throughout the trail. Stop by, maybe you'll run into me with the dog who recently came into my life

Great River Park is a must-visit! The views of the Connecticut River and Hartford skyline are stunning, especially at sunset. The walking paths are clean and well-maintained, perfect for a peaceful stroll or bike ride. A relaxing and scenic spot right in the city!

A fine trail beside Connecticut river and you will also enjoy the Hartford skyline while taking a nice walk riverside. Parking is not that big though. Found no restrooms as well. We however couldn’t stay longer due to heavy wind in lower temperature. Will definitely come again to spend some quality time during summer. Must visit place if you are around to spend a beautiful morning or afternoon.

Needs more attention. More can be used in this walk, maybe a water sprinkler during summer. A water resistant outdoor gym so the water isn't affecting them when it raises up. The sitting areas are barely usable. IDK but fishing can't be the only activity to do, and you can barely get any here anyway - that Heron was just as disappointed as I was.
