Goodspeed Airport
Historic Site
Goodspeed Airport, located at 15 Lumber Yard Road in East Haddam is a unique aviation haven set on 57 acres along the Connecticut River. It features a 2,100-foot asphalt runway and a 4,500-foot water runway, making it a popular destination for amphibious aircraft training. The airport also houses several banks of hangars. In November 2020, the airport came under new ownership, with the support of the Recreational Aviation Foundation, and has since been revitalized.
