Smallwood State Park Boat Ramp

Smallwood State Park has a large boat ramp facility, with 6 ramps, 100 parking spaces, and 26 handicap spaces. The site is located at the end of Sweden Point Road, Charles County Route 280. The boat ramps have access to Mattawoman Creek and easy access to the Potomac River. The park is the site of several major bass fishing competitions held each year in the Potomac. The park charges a fee for use of the boat ramp.
