One of the better state parks I've been to in Maryland. Each site is maintained and mostly level. Our site did flood with the torrential rain we had, but it did drain relatively quickly. Excellent walking trails and they do have a small store at the boat ramp for common items. Firewood also available.

This is a wonderful park in southern MD. It is well kept with nice kid-friendly shady trails, buildings, docks, awesome playgrounds (there are two), and grounds. The walking bridge is fun and I saw herons both times I walked over. We had a kid-friendly group hike here with fellow homeschoolers and we will definitely be back. The rangers were very nice and helpful as well.

Wow 🤯 great trails and bridges to hike with your fur baby 🍼. Plus they have boat launches and jet ski launch areas. I've even seen people fishing right over the deep water dock. They have fish cleaning tubs if you do catch something and a discovery center. Plus a couple of very modern playgrounds for the kids. Great great park 🏞️

I enjoyed my stay here. There isn't a lot to do here if you're not fishing or boating, but there is a nice hiking trail and a few historic sites to check out. No beach or pool. The park is clean, quiet, and relaxing. I had electrical and water hookups for my RV. No sewer, but there is a dump station. I'd come again.

Short, easy walking trail. Access to the marina and docks for fishing looked great. Clean bathroom facilities. Will need to go back in season to explore the discovery center.
