Turtle Beach, NJ
National Park Service Site

Turtle Beach is a day-use-only recreational area in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. It is one of three swimming areas within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and it's the only one on the New Jersey side. The area requires a fee to access the beach: $10 per car or $2 for walk-ins4. The arena is very large, so while it can get congested, there is plenty of space to stretch out. There are two bathroom facilities on the site, one where you first arrive and a second down by the beach. Turtle Beach is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The 70,000-acre park follows 40 miles of the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River through the Delaware Water Gap. Photo: National Park Service.
