Watergate Recreation Area
National Park Service Site
Watergate Recreation Area is a site in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area that has been restored to its natural state as a wetland, floodplain and marsh for Van Campens Brook. It is located near Millbrook Village and the Delaware River. The project was completed in February 2023. The site is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The 70,000-acre park follows 40 miles of the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River through the Delaware Water Gap.
