I did advance a request to the Commission of Investigation of Anti-American Activities to search and initiate charges against those who intentionally and without no tangible need destroyed this once beautiful area. I know, it will take a while, the Commission is in its incipient stage but when fully operational the outcome for the culprits will not be pretty at all.

Completely ruined a once beautiful area. Used to love taking my daughter here on picnics just like I did with my parents when I was her age. Lakes are gone and picnic area has been replaced with wetlands. Still currently closed and under construction

Was anyone, especially Project Manager Kristy Boscheinen, aware that NJ wetlands already covered 5 million acres of New Jersey? That is 21% of the state! This once amazingly beautiful park getting wrecked for no reason just STINKS.

"The Watergate Wetlands Restoration Project is a required compensation for the adverse environmental effects due to construction of the nearby Susquehanna-Roseland Transmission Line in 2013 and 2014. Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) and PPL Electric Utilities (PPL) have fully funded this restoration project. " To be fair the power line links regions of the Mid-Atlantic power grid and we all like electricity. Still looks like trash. I look forward to seeing a concert there though, it's a mixed bag.

Good to see this area being rehabbed to its original state.
