Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History

The fort is maintained by the Sullivan County Department of Public Works as a museum of coloniall hisotry. The fort was built according to the plans and specifications of nearby pioneeer settlements. It is open in the summer and charges a small fee. The museum is an authentic depiction of the life of the Delaware Company Pioneers who settled in the Upper Delaware Valley in 1754. Interpretive guides demonstrate life on the frontier in 18th Century America.
