Beecher Falls Landing

Canoe/Kayak Access

blank dot

Behind a consignment store and post office, immediately downstream of the Rt 3 bridge, an access provides a take-out for groups not seeking to portage or scout the challenging Beecher Falls rapids that follow, or end a trip here. Overnight parking by permission of the landowner. Improved through the efforts of the Vermont River Conservancy and NorthWoods Stewardship Center, and a private landowner in July 2020.

This site is part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail, which includes campsites, access points, and portage trails along the river. (Site is described as being in NH, it's actually in VT.)
