Bugbee Landing in Bradford, Vermont is a rustic yet functional access point located just beyond Memorial Field, behind the Bradford Academy building. Nestled at the mouth of the Waits River where it meets the Connecticut River, it offers a small dock and an unimproved ramp suitable for launching canoes, kayaks, and small boats—though motorized vessels may find the terrain challenging. The site is popular among paddlers and river travelers for its quiet charm and practical amenities, including overnight parking and a mowed camping area that allows up to two nights’ stay. Open fires are permitted in designated zones, and visitors are encouraged to notify the Bradford Parks & Recreation Commission if camping. While swimming is prohibited, the landing provides a peaceful spot for fishing, resting, or staging a river journey.

This site is part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail, which includes campsites, access points, and portage trails along the river.
