The Lower Slade Brook Natural Area is a 38-acre woodland located in Hanover, New Hampshire. Owned by the Hanover Conservancy, this serene retreat is nestled near the Connecticut River and offers easy walking terrain next to Slade Brook. The area is graced by convenient hiking trails through varied forestland, including a 0.5-mile Waterfall Trail that offers beautiful views of falling waters. The area has been forested for at least the last 100 years and hosts a variety of wildlife, including deer, fox, and coyote. The Conservancy’s protection of this property ensures that Lower Slade Brook will always be a pristine environment for people to enjoy and where the native flora and fauna can flourish.
