Rainbow Beach Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is a public area located in Northfield, Massachusetts. It is protected by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) to provide habitat for wildlife and to give people a place to explore wild Massachusetts. The area is free and open to the public for walking, hiking, hunting, fishing, trapping, and wildlife viewing. Any trails through the properties are unmarked and parking lots are usually not paved. Rainbow Beach WMA is a testament to the region’s commitment to preserving natural habitats and promoting outdoor recreational activities.

This site is part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail, which includes campsites, access points, and portage trails along the river.
