The Connecticut River Walk and Bikeway is a 3.7-mile stretch along the Springfield riverfront in Massachusetts. This scenic path offers outstanding opportunities for biking, running, walking, or rollerblading with stunning vistas of the Connecticut River, the Springfield city skyline, and Memorial Bridge. The River Walk is part of a linear park along both sides of the Connecticut River, planned to extend through the communities of Agawam, Chicopee, Holyoke, Springfield, and West Springfield. The completed portions feature paved paths for various activities, scenic overlooks, nature trails, urban promenades with benches, and picnic areas. The River Walk and Bikeway not only provides a recreational space but also revitalizes the Connecticut Riverfront, restoring it as a focus of life in the region.
