Boat Ramp
The Lieutenant River Boat Launch is a car top/carry-in type boat launch located at 17 Shore Road in Old Lyme. It is open year-round and is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. The launch has a gravel access road, parking surface, and ramp. It offers three parking spaces and seasonal chemical toilets, but it does not have any docks. The launch provides access to the Lieutenant River, making it a convenient spot for boating enthusiasts
This site is part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail, which includes campsites, access points, and portage trails along the river.
