The Kinsale Museum on the green in the heart of the village has exhibits focusing on the rich history of the town. The museum is open from May 1-October 1, Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Port Kinsale Marina is the home of the Virginia W, a restored 1904 Chesapeake Bay Skipkjack. The boat was built in Virginia, but worked for more than 80 years in Maryland waters dredging oysters. The boat was restored by the Port Kinsale Foundation, a private non profit organization dedicated to restoring historic watercraft.
