Scenic Overlook

The dramatic overlook, also called the "National Geographic Overlook" and "Panorama Overlook" is located on West Virginia Route 9 and overlooks the Potomac and Great Cacapon Valleys in three states--Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. There is an 11-mile hiking trail from Cacapon State Park overlook that follows the top of the mountain to Prospect Peak. The site is located about 3 miles from Berkeley Springs. A restaurant at the site closed in 2016.
