Blossom Point Test Area is a 1,600-acre Army testing range located at the southern end of Charles County, Maryland, approximately nine miles southwest of La Plata and 50 miles south of Washington, D.C. The Blossom Point Field Test Facility is an active facility under the U.S. Army Research Laboratory based in Adelphi, Maryland. Nanjemoy Creek forms the western boundary and the Potomac River forms the southern and eastern boundaries of the Blossom Point Field Test Area.
