Sideling Hill Wildlife Management Area
Maryland Wildlife Area

A large, mixed oak-hickory forest dominates the 3,000 acres of Sideling Hill Wildlife Management Area. Sandstone and shale outcrops create dramatic formations. The area is popular for hunting of white-tailed deer, turkey, grouse, and squirrels. The site has a stocked trout stream. Canoeing is possible only during spring months. Old logging roads are scattered throughout the area and can be used for hiking.
