Upper Delaware River
From the confluence of the Delaware's East and West Branches near Hancock to the wide turn at Port Jervis, the river is a 60-mile long playground for fishing and water sports. Managed by the National Park Service, the river here is named the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. It is the last major undammed river in the eastern United States. Most of the land along the river is privately owned, but there are many recreational opportunities. Click on a marker or choose a site below for details.
