The Met Cloisters is a museum located in Fort Tryon Park on a hilltop overlooking the Hudson River in Upper Manhattan. The museum is dedicated to the art and architecture of medieval Europe and was designed to resemble a medieval monastery. The museum’s collection includes over 5,000 objects from medieval Europe, including illuminated manuscripts, metalwork, sculpture, and textiles. The museum is part of the Metropolitan Museum of New York.
