Canoe/kayak launch area in the Village of Saugerties has parking for 10 cars. No motors are permitted. A permit is required from the Village of Saugerties. Non-residents are charged a fee. Located along the Esopus Creek and within view of the Creek's entry into the historic Hudson River, Tina Chorvas Memorial Park is a great setting for a relaxful stroll, for launching a kayak, or for the many events that are held there each year, including the Annual Esopus Creek Festival.
