Coxsackie is a town in Greene County, New York, United States with a population of 8,382 as of 2020 census. The name of the town is said to be derived from a Native American term, but it has various translations. The town has several historic places such as Martin Van Buren National Historic Site, Hudson-Athens Lighthouse, Bronck Farm 13-Sided Barn, Luykas Van Alen House, Kinderhook Village District and Brick Row Historic District.
