Schodack Island State Park
Park
Schodack Island State Park is a 1,052-acre state park that spans portions of Rensselaer, Greene, and Columbia counties in New York. The park sits off the eastern shore of the Hudson River just south of Albany. Approximately seven miles of Hudson River and Schodack Creek shoreline bound the site. The park has four pavilions that can accommodate 25 to 125 people and prices range from $50 to $125. The boat launch is the one of several in the area to be renewed under the Hudson Eagles Recreation Area, an initiative to improve public access and resiliency on the wild stretch of the Hudson between Kingston and Albany and enhance connections to the waterfront communities in the region.
