Campbell Island and Papscanee Creek
Park

Papscanee Creek is a creek that flows into the Hudson River on its eastern bank. Campbell Island is part of a peninsula but similar to a true island, with access mostly by water. The entire island is nominated for the National Register of Historic Places due to its Mohican cultural significance. It is perhaps the best-preserved late woodland Native village site in New York.
