Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area

Meadowood Special Recreation Area is owned by the Bureau of Land Management. It has several popular mountain biking trails, six miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, including a handicapped-accessible trail to Hidden Pond, two fisihing ponds, 800 acres of forest, education program, a large horse boarding stable, and other facilities. BLM manages the area to provide open space for recreation, environmental education, and wild horse and burro. interpretation. The agency sponsors several wild horse and burro adoption events each year.
