blank dot

The cartop boat launch at Mason Neck State Park offers paddlers a quiet, scenic gateway into Belmont Bay, Kane's Creek, and the upper Potomac River. Tucked between the visitor center and the picnic area, the sandy launch provides an easy, low?stress entry point for kayaks and canoes, with a short walk back from the upper parking lot after unloading. Visitors can explore sheltered coves rich with wildlife or follow the shoreline toward Sandy Point and the broader bay. With restrooms nearby and calm conditions in the protected cove, it's an inviting spot for both first?time paddlers and seasoned explorers looking for a peaceful stretch of tidal water.

Located in the Mason Neck State Park, this boat ramp provides access to Kane's Creek, Occoquan Bay, and the Potomac River. The ramp is the site of guided canoe trips of Kane's Creek and Belmont Bay.
