7th St. Park Wilmington
River Access Point
The 7th St. boat ramp (currently closed) was a boat ramp at the confluence of Brandywine Creek and the Christina River. It was part of the Babiarz Park, along with a popular skateboard park.
The boat ramp was closed in 2004 and in bad condition, but a court settlement from an oil spill on the Delaware River created a fund for restoration of the boat ramp. The reconstruction project was scheduled to begin in late 2022.
