Photo of Pennsauken Transit Station

Pennsauken Transit Center is a key intermodal hub in Pennsauken, New Jersey, connecting travelers to both the River Line light rail and the Atlantic City Line commuter rail. Located at Derousse Avenue near Zimmerman Avenue, this station opened in October 2013 and serves as a vital link between South Jersey and Philadelphia. It features two platform levels—one for each rail line—and offers 261 parking spaces, including seven accessible spots, as well as bike racks for cyclists. The station is fully accessible and connects to several NJ Transit bus routes. Its strategic location near the Delair neighborhood and local industrial parks makes it a convenient choice for commuters and travelers heading to Atlantic City or Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. Though unstaffed, the station includes a ticket vending machine and is served by Amtrak.
