John A. Roebling Memorial Park
County Park

The park is named for the famous bridge engineer, whose bridges are located along the Delaware River. The park was established as part of the Abbot Marshlands, a unique area of meadows, marshes, and upland areas. The marshlands was the site of a discovery of man-made implements and became one of the best-known archaeological sites in North America. In 1957, a large area was donated by the Roebling family to become a wildlife refuge and renamed the John A. Robeling Memorial Park. There is an unpaved kayak launching area near the Watson Woods picnic area. The Robeling Memorial Park is part of the Delaware Water Traill and The Delaware River Heritage Trail.
