Kayak Access
Primitive launch, non-motorized boats only. Canoe or very small boats only due to narrow path down a steep bank. No fee is charged. The access point is near the day-use area around Canal locks 22 and 23 and provides access to both the canal and the river.
The Theodore Roosevelt Recreation Area access point allows canal users to travel between Northampton County and Bucks County and through the town of Riegelsville. This section is part of over 50 miles of the D&L Trail designated as National Recreation Trail within Delaware Canal State Park from Easton to Bristol near Philadelphia.
