Downtown Easton offers a diverse array of shopping and dining opportunities, from casual to formal. Easton is the home of Larry Holmes, the Hall of Fame boxer who held the Heavyweight Boxing Title for more than seven and a half years. A bronze statue honoring Mr. Holmes, a.k.a the "Easton Assassin," overlooks the scenic Forks of the Delaware, where the Lehigh River cascades into the mighty Delaware River on its trip to the Delaware Bay.
