The Kaiser Trail Head is located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Hardwick Township, New Jersey. It is a moderate 6.3-mile hike that brings you along three popular trails and up to a ridge with scenic views along the Appalachian Trail. The trail terminates at the Appalachian Trail, about two miles south of Mohican Outdoor Center. You can extend the hike by heading south on the Appalachian Trail for a number of spectacular overlooks of the valleys below. To create a loop for the return trip, head north along the Appalachian Trail. The trail is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The 70,000-acre park follows 40 miles of the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River through the Delaware Water Gap.
