Metropolitan Edison Generating Plant Access

Public Access

Owned and maintained by Metropolitan Edison Company for free use by the public. Facilities include a dirt boat ramp, picnic area, limited parking, trash disposal and sanitary facilities. Day use only - no camping - facility is locked at night. On the river, a small pool by ramp & rapids immediately above & below ramp may be difficult to navigate. The site is located off River Road, .8 miles below the Portland-Columbia bridge.
