Highland NY DEC Access

Public Access

River access point is in the Town of Highland, off Route 97 1.5 miles west of Barryville. The site has a gravel and grass ramp suitable for hand launching of canoes and kayaks. A paved parking area can handle up to 12 vehicles. The trail to the river was repaved in 2023. The site has seasonal restrooms.
