Olana State Historic Site

Olana State Historic Site is a historic house museum and landscape located in Greenport, New York, near the city of Hudson. The estate was home to Frederic Edwin Church, one of the major figures in the Hudson River School of landscape painting. The site is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The estate has been designated as a National Historic Landmark since June 22, 1965. The Olana State Historic Site will undergo major capital and site improvement projects over the next several years, including construction of the Frederic Church Center for Art and Landscape, a new entry and orientation facility at the historic site in Hudson, Columbia County.
