Best way to leave D.C., the views coming off of this bridge are spectacular when viewing the Washingon Monument and Lincoln Memorial. Great bridge for sightseeing and travelling into Virginia. Also a direct view of the Pentagon which was cool to see

Better known as the southbound lanes of the 14th street bridge, only the George Mason Span has a pedestrian walkway. This is probably the busiest commuter cyclist bridge in the region. You'll see pronounced cycling traffic here 12 months a year. It would behoove Tourists to walk or ride to the right on this bridge. Single file too and don't get distracted by the low flying planes of Ronald Reagan National Airport. Road noise is extreme here, so dont expect to hear cyclist calling out. Keep to your right with your shoulder brushing the railing. Please, this for your safety.

This is a fantastic bridge. The bike lane is well maintained and wide enough to allow bikers to pass joggers. When the sun is setting, this is a great place to watch the golden evening light reflecting off the buildings in Rosslyn.

Not realizing that a plane crashed into the water🤥
