It's not the best! One functioning bathhouse in the entire campground. It's kinda like being in high school.. everyone is in some kind of clique.. oh and they definitely love to talk about when they think you're not listening!!

We are new boat owners and moved into our slip at Goose Bat Marina about a month ago. The staff and other boat owners have been really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet and serene and great for entertaining on your boat and watching sunsets.

Great place to access the Port Tobacco and Potomac rivers. Good vibe in the summer. Has all the basics needed in the store. Nice and family staff.

Let me start by saying that the people that work there and the other boaters are very nice. The launch ramp is great! They have several options for storage whether it is a boat slip or field storage.
Regarding the slips, they appear to be kept up fairly nice. The absolute downside is that their paperwork and slip accountability is absolutley terrible! We rented a slip on the floating dock ($2k per year) but had to take the boat to the shop for some minor work. When we returned to put our boat back in, they sold ours to someone else!! Now we are fairly nice people so we agreed to take a slip a little further down. We had no problems. The something happened to our boat (not their fault) and had to take the boat back to the shop. 3 or 4 weeks later when we brought it back we noticed that there was a boat IN OUR SLIP AGAIN! We inquired with the office and saw that the slip was still recorded as ours but then they noticed that there was a piece of paper on the desk with someone else's name and they RENTED OURS OUT TO SOMEONE ELSE AGAIN!!! We got a full refund.
If you get a slip there, just know that their paperwork for slip rentals sucks and you may or may not have one when you get back.
Goose Bay - you can do better in fact I offered for free to fix the problem for you with electronic spreadsheets.
