As a novice biker, the Anacostia Bike Trail is clean, very scenic and calming and lots of history can be obtained along the ride. I ride the trail at least two times a week and the most challenging is the small heels that over time I'm able to ride up them instead of dismounting and walking up 😅.

Would be a great place if not for the pollution. Actually bumped into some people visiting from out of town that were disgusted by the condition of the park. The ramp was full of driftwood and trash. Super sad to see this place like this.

I love this park. I live close-by. This was my first time trying the ramp. One star unfortunately due to it being filled with trash and large tree parts. I moved some trees and dragged my small boat over the deep trash and debris but felt unsafe climbing around that stuff. Another small boat skipped the ramp and went off the side wall while I was there. It's fine for kayaks and anything small enough to drop in off the dock

Nice little jetty and boat ramp near Anacostia park. There were a few logs and tree branches in the water. But it seemed better than what other boaters came across.
The jetty seems to be a good place for people to fish. And people just sit around and enjoy the surroundings.
Hope people can leave the area clean. Would be a good place to meetup here for volunteer trash pickup.

To many loose dogs and dog waste. The bathrooms sucks, men and women using the women's bathroom. The aquarium staff is nasty and leaves to early, they really don't seam to let people in the aquarium. They don't do a good job with the public and they act like we are bothering them when a question is asked. Where is the ethnicities? This park is majority black and other ethnic groups with white only staff. Bid problem! Otherwise beautiful park.
