August drought has the Potomac River very low at the moment. Ride to the waters edge on the concrete ramp. Makes for a beautiful view of the river!😊

First kayak/boat launch downstream of Paw Paw on the Potomac. The launch itself is very good, easy to get your car right down to the River. Getting to and from the launch by car is rather difficult. Dirt roads for a few miles. Make sure your car can handle it.

Same limitations as other reviewer noted, no water, steep boat ramp and difficult road access. However I give it a 4/5 for river access. It has a campsite dedicated to River access campers! A good site with regards to that and a decent permanent building bathroom.

It's pretty down here, but the water level was very low. Roads to Bonds Landing are also a little rough, 4WD recommended

Lovely views, and you can walk right down to the water to soak your tired feet. The bathrooms are there, just a door that locks and a place to sit over a hole, no sink or flush toilet. No running water at site, apart from the river.
