Clean bathrooms, nice launch, nice fishing pier. Pier closes at dusk though. Not a lot of parking.

Great place for fishing! Perch, catfish, rockfish, crabs, croaker, spot, it can all be found here at some point of the year! This has a really nice pier and bathrooms open to public, a small area for kids to swim, playground, a grill, pavilion to get out of the sun and a boat launch so you can head out if wanted.

I've lived in Southern Maryland for over 40 years and I just found this place. My wife and I have gone there 5 times this month alone. Last week we were the only two on the Pier for almost 3 hours. We totally fell in love.
We, only wish that other visitors would show more respect and clean up after themselves a lot better. We leave no trace or evidence that we were even there. We even clean up what others leave especially, Old Crab lines and wind blown trash pulled from the water.
I haven't had any real success with fishing but it's so nice and somewhat peaceful. I really appreciate it. My wife has been successful Crabbing.
Note: make sure you secure your chair, hats, trash, etc. The wind will blow non secured items/objects in the water.
I really wish I had a boat.
Thank God and the Local residents for a "last Good Piece of Heaven on Earth".

It's a lovely pier that extends into the Wicomico waters, where you can experience beautiful sun sets, fish, crab, cookout in small groups or bring a bag lunch and enjoy the gazebo, there's also a playground for children's enjoyment, and the grounds and restrooms are kept clean
