As boat ramps go, i love this one. The stream that rushes thru shepardstown hits the river here. There are lovely little falls and a cute bridge. There is also the oddest little hut.. way up on a concrete platform. Id love to know what it is...! There is parking for about 8 cars and a bit of a hill down to the water. There are paths thru the woods with access to the water along the way. Of the times i have been.. this time early may but last year during the summer, i didnt notice odors. It is a water treatment plant tho... and the potomac soooo... there could be at times..

Beautiful place to bring a boat. This part of the river is beautiful with lots of sites. It is a free boat ramp. The ramp is steep and narrow, and parking is limited so amateur drivers may have a hard time. If existing parking is taken there are very few options available

Public boat ramp work limited parking places. There is a darling little waterfall.

Great place to start a float if you are getting dropped off.

Great photos of Potomac river. Babbling brook. Just a great place to reset your innerards lol
