This is a good place to get out and stretch your legs. Very secluded location with few people.
Good fishing spot in the Blairs Valley Lake. Good lake views. Great spot to photography. Lots of wildlife with several different habitats.

Driving from Philadelphia to Cumberland. This was a welcome stop. Really nice walk around the lake. Plenty of parking. My dog loved it. A lot of people fishing. Would definitely recommend for a nice day in the country.

They advertise this as a WMA with dog training throughout. But the manager has a differant priority in mind and only wants you to train where people are fishing near the boat access. There is a locked gate to gain access to opposite side where trainers will not be competing for space with fishermen. Not at all a dog training area!!!

Very nice lake too fish on. Great parking, easy access.
