Went to the park for an Amateur Radio activity called "Park's On The Air" where you go to a state or federal park and make as many contacts as you can, all around the world.
The park is very clean, has plenty of parking, and has a Port a Potty.
It can get very crowded during the weekends in the summer, I advise you visit during "off time"
If your interested in Ham Radio, you should contact your local club or reach out to me. Morse code hasn't been required for years!

Nice little area to launch from. There is a small concrete ramp for boats, there is also a little walk down launch for kayaks or paddleboards. There was a nice little picnic area back in the shade and the dock seems to be a pleasant spot to fish. There's also an outhouse and a trash bin in the parking lot.
Lots of wildlife in the area. Just walking up to the water there were tons of minnows, blue crabs, and everyone's favorite jellyfish. Out on the water you could see ospreys, herons.
Fabulous area to explore, lots of shoreline to check out. Just across the water is the Sunset Cove restaurant and a marina.

Lovely quiet little hideaway. Public boat launch, pier and small beach can be found here with a few picnic tables and a pavilion.
