They have amazing t-shirt, sweatshirt, little kids shirts, stuff to drink,fishing poles,sun glasses,sunscreen, bug spray,snacks. They really are a nice little store. Go check them out.

My review is of the office/general store.

First, Lewisetta is a quintessential Chesapeake Bay community at the mouth of the Potomac and Coan Rivers just 15 minutes from Callao Virginia. The deep history goes back hundreds of years and includes shipping, boat building and boat repair. Oyster men and fisherman would come in to the Coan, offload their catch and overnight in the protected harbor. Local farmers transported fresh vegetables to a canning plant located near the point. Steamships would stop and transport the goods to markets in the cities or to other communities along the bay. Today Lewisetta is home to some of the original descendants of the families that operated these business and earned their living as farmers and watermen. The community now consists of many waterfront vacation homes, a well respected working marina and a wonderful old, small general store. Charm is the rule and not the exception.

Helen is one of the owners of the marina and a local craft artist that makes amazing folk art and crafts from materials that the rivers bring to the shores of both rivers. The sea (river) glass she collects is just one of the mediums she works in. Floats, driftwood, hand painted signs are also for sale. If you are looking for something for you or for a gift it is worth the 15 minute drive from Callao to visit.

My wife and I came to the area to fish for couple of days at the very end of December. We had only fueled at the marina a couple of times in the past, but we decided to rent a slip and stay overnight. We had a very nice experience. The slips and dock are new and well protected. Power boxes are new and easy to access. It was quiet and we felt safe staying there. Jill and her husband were very accommodating, definitely friendly with a true desire to make our stay as pleasant as they could. The restrooms/showers were very clean and the store was full of interesting items. We fueled up with diesel fuel and thought the price was definitely fair. We definitely recommend stopping and supporting this marina as they're rebuilding. Keep up the great work!
All in all it was a great experience and we'll definitely do it again!
