Great sunflower fields.
July 24 update - there are lots of blooms but they’re not quite at their peak. Still worth a visit - take your camera and try to get there in the morning. The light will be better for your selfies. :)

Sycamore Landing is a good time. Loads of sunflowers in bloom second week of August, lots of bumblebees and finches enjoying themselves too. I saw three of the four sunflower patches and this was the best and largest.

It was soooo calm, quiet, and peaceful out there! I love photographing sunflowers!

Beautiful surprise when I pulled into parking lot. Lot was next to a huge field of beautiful sunflowers.

Kinda hidden parking area with access to Potomac River and C&O Canal. No facilities
