One of my fav places along the C&O canal is the boat landing off of Taylor's Landing Rd. Nestled between dam #4 and boat ramp is awesome towpath where one can see nature at it finest, butterflies, grey heron, woodpeckers, barn owls , seasonal flowers, tree species, deer and yes toilet at boat ramp and porta-potty towards dam 4. Enjoy your visit.

Amazing sunsets any season! Good place for kayaks. Great nature along the C&O Canal, away from the regular high traffic in other areas of C&O Towpath. Working farms along the way.

Nice boat ramp with a few parking stalls.

Beware of vandals. My husband and I parked there to cycle the C&O towpath and someone threw trash in the bed of our truck and took the valve stem covers, flattened two tires and then damaged the valve stems. They were hoping we would be stranded. But we were able to pump them up ourselves. Stupid lowlifes.

Wonderful, many people launched kayaks, for trips down river to shepardstown, West Virgina. Lots of bicycles 🚲 stopping to view river. Many fisherman and hikers on the toe path. Great place to visit if you love people and the outdoors!
