We came here on Saturday—such a beautiful sunset! 🌅
The place was full of people, so lively and full of happy vibes.
We took a stroll along the bay, just soaking it all in.
Really hope this sense of ease and peace stays with us. 😌✨

This uniquely shaped pier is literally a piece of art itself. Combined with great views and amenities, it’s one of the best piers I’ve had the luxury to stroll across.

I love the swings, even though waiting for a vacant one is annoying, it’s totally wort it. The best time to visit for sightseeing is sunset and after since everything lights up and it’s gorgeous, but if you’re looking for a time where it’s empty and swings are free, I recommend the morning.

A nicely structured public pier along the river with many shops, restaurants, public activities, and theatres. The renovation has really introduced some new life into this modernized community. While small, the fish market at one end is a historic place to start. Most of the eateries here are along the water, and while pricey, offer views of the river while avoiding the heat of the summer. The pier itself has a very pleasing design, and is lined with benches and swing sets. You can rent paddleboats at its end, or take your kids to the fountains at the other. The famous Torch also sits out on the pier, and is surrounded by benches as well. Currently, the DC Jazzfest is held at this location, but you can count on many events being held here throughout the year.
