The lodge was awesome. Everything was clean and new. The pool was perfect for the kids, the hot tub was nice for the adults. The service at both the lodge and the restaurant was outstanding. Shout out to Alexander for being the most amazing server. The nature center and rangers were super informative and engaging. The hiking was great. Cannot recommend Cacapon State Park enough.

Cacapon State Park is a gem. The park is in the northeast corner of West Virginia. While the park is in the mountains, the drive there is not mountainous.

Cacapon has a swimming lake, a fishing pond (a good place for stargazing), playgrounds, a shooting range, many hiking trails, a golf course, basketball, tennis, and volleyball. There are many cabins and a lodge (where I stayed).

The lodge has a restaurant (try the BBQ ribs), bar, spa, fitness center, indoor pool, gift shop, meeting rooms, free wifi, and many places to sit and relax. My room has a queen bed, a TV, and a small fridge.

The park is beautiful, the facilities are in good condition, and the staff are friendly.

Great place to take the family. Clean cabins, affordable prices, wonderfully renovated main lodge with tons of amenities. We come here every year and don’t plan on stopping! Thank you for hosting us every year.

Lots of well maintained hiking and biking trails as well as other things to do as well. I hope to come in the summer one day to check out the golf course.

Shockingly positive hotel with all the upgrades for a special getaway. Rooms modern and comfy. Loads of room to roam. Winter visit but when the season changes, golf available on the grounds.
Indoor pool and hot tub. Nice work out room and a library lounge.
Restaurant has tasty opitions with fair pricing.
Includes spa with pricing to match.

The Legacy Lounge at Cacapon State Park is a real gem. Added as part of the new addition, it features a cozy fireplace with comfortable sofa and chairs as well as tables and bar area. Food is available and tasty! The seasonable signature cocktails are a work of art! Staff is always friendly and have created drinks on my request and description.
